RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif.- - For too long residents of the Coachella Valley have had to travel at least as far away as Menifee if they wanted a Krispy Kreme doughnut. Soon, those days will be a distant memory.
The highly anticipated Krispy Kreme at 72787 Dinah Shore Drive in Rancho Mirage will finally open its doors at 5:30 a.m. on April 16.
Be sure to set your alarms on April 16 as the first 100 guests to walk through the doors will receive free doughnuts for an entire year (plus a T-shirt!).
The first guest will receive a punch card that will ensure they get a free dozen every single week for an entire year. The next 99 guests who walk through the doors will receive a punch card for a free dozen every month for a year.
The store's opening happens in between the two weekends of the Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Store officials say those on their way back from the Empire Polo Club can stop by the store receive a free glazed doughnut. Just show them your wristband.
