Coroner identifies man & woman found dead behind La Quinta home

LA QUINTA, Calif.- - The Riverside County Corner's Office has identified the man and woman found dead behind a house in La Quinta Monday morning.

Yesterday at around 9 a.m., the bodies of 44-year-old Ada Heintz & 59-year-old Herman Heintz were found behind a home on the 79700 block of Independence Way La Quinta.

Police remained on scene investigating for over 12 hours.

Riverside County Sheriff's Department officials confirmed there was no suspect at large and no threat to public safety. No other information has been released in order to "maintain the integrity of the investigation."

Ada's family told News Channel 3 earlier today they are still reeling from the shock of the tragedy.

"The event's yesterday we're crazy and bizarre. So many people wondering what happened and I hope everyone hears the truth about what happened," said Michael Adkins, Ada's nephew. "We're doing the same thing just guessing and speculating."
