Juan Uribe hit a two-run home run in the sixth, helping the Dodgers stay two games ahead of the San Francisco Giants atop the National League West standings. The Nationals, who own the league's best record, lead the Atlanta Braves by seven games in the NL East.

Kershaw (17-3) allowed one run and three hits, struck out eight and walked two in eight innings. Kenley Jensen recorded three strikeouts in the ninth for his 39th save.
