Bobby Petrino, disgraced former Arkansas football coach, has sold his mansion in Fayetteville, Ark., for $1.7 million. The Arkansas Business Journal reported that Petrino and his wife, Becky, bought the 8,741-square-foot home for $2.25 million in March of 2008.

The house had been on the market for about two years, when he and his wife decided to downsize.

Petrino was fired by Arkansas on April 15 after it was revealed that he used his position to hire his mistress, a 25-year-old former volleyball player for the Razorbacks, to the football support staff.

In May, Petrino and his wife also sold their vacation home in Beaver Lake, Ark.

The motorcycle that he crashed, ultimately leading to the exposure of his affair, also has been sold, and Petrino's Arkansas luggage and golf bags wound up at a Goodwill center in Springdale, Ark.

Petrino has not commented since his dismissal.
