The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday that they reassigned defenseman Brendan Mikkelson to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

Mikkelson, 25, has an assist and a plus-one rating in four games with the Lightning this season. In seven games with Syracuse, Mikkelson has an assist and a plus-four rating.
