Flames land McGrattan from Predators for Piskula

Winger previously played with Calgary in 2009-10

The Calgary Flames have acquired Brian McGrattan from the Nashville Predators for defenseman Joe Piskula.

McGrattan cleared waivers Wednesday and had been assigned to Nashville's AHL affiliate in Milwaukee. He'll now report to Calgary's AHL affiliate in Abbotsford, B.C.

McGrattan rejoins the Flames after playing with Calgary in 2009-10, when he had one goal and three assists in 34 games.

Piskula has appeared in 10 NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings and Calgary in a seven-year professional career.
