The San Diego Chargers on Friday will host a celebration of Junior Seau, the 20-year NFL star who died Wednesday.

The team announced it will hold the event at Qualcomm Stadium at 6:30 PST to honor Seau, who played 13 seasons with the Chargers (1990-2002).

Guest speakers will share memories of Seau at the event, where admission and parking will be free.

Seau, 43, who played 20 seasons in the NFL, died of a self-inflicted wound at his home nearby Oceanside, Calif.
