Bruins center David Krejci (bruised right knee) will not play tonight against the Jets, and rookie Ryan Spooner will be thrown into the fire -- taking Krejci's spot on the line with Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton. "He's doing better, and that's a good sign," said B's coach Claude Julien of Krejci, who was struck on the knee by a Johnny Boychuk shot Sunday in Pittsburgh. What makes Spooner, who leads Providence (AHL) is scoring with 12-33--45 totals, a good fit between Lucic and Horton? "I don't know?" said Julien with a smile. "I guess I'll tell you after the game. We're giving him the opportunity, being a real good centerman, to play with some good players. "He's a great playmaker, so I think it's a great opportunity for Spoons to take. We'll see where he goes with it. If it doesn't work out, we can always make some changes. But we've seen him play enough to know he can probably be a good fit there."
