A man tried to kidnap a woman as she was jogging in Jurupa Valley today, a sheriff's sergeant said.
The kidnapping attempt was reported shortly after 10:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Camino Real. The suspect, who was driving a dark gray, four-door sedan with rear tinted windows, followed the jogger ``in an attempt to get her into his car,'' sheriff's Sgt. Richard Heard said.
The woman got away with help from two other people, and the suspect drove off east on Jurupa Road, Heard said.
The suspect was described as white, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium, muscular build and tattoos on his neck, shoulders and arms.
Anyone with information was asked to call Deputy Mike Lucero at (951) 955-2600.
