Two men have been arrested for allegedly using stolen credit cards to buy electronics in La Quinta last month, a sergeant said Saturday.
Sheriff's authorities served a search warrant Friday in the 42800 block of Glass Drive in Bermuda Dunes in connection with several commercial burglaries in early May, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Robert Pickowitz said.
Oscar Daniel Holguin, 39, and Allen Charles Brewster, 23, both of Bermuda Dunes, were named as suspects who allegedly used fake checks and the cards to fraudulently buy electronic goods and other items from the La Quinta businesses, Pickowitz said.
Stolen credit cards, driver's licenses and 35 grams of methamphetamine were among the evidence found at the Glass Drive location.
Holguin and Brewster were arrested, the sergeant said.
Holguin was booked for suspicion of second degree burglary, drug possession and other violations. He posted $30,000 bail and was released from custody Friday, records showed.
Brewster was also booked for second degree burglary and other violations and remained in jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, records showed.
