Rancho Mirage's free outdoor movie series will conclude tonight with a screening of the 1943 comedy classic "Road to Morocco."
The series, begun last month, is part of the city's 40th anniversary and all movies feature entertainers who "lived, played, and shaped Rancho Mirage," including the Marx brothers, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, according to the city.
"Road to Morocco" stars the late Coachella Valley residents Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. Rancho Mirage City Councilman Scott Hines will introduce the film.
The screening is at 8 p.m. in Whitewater Park at 71560 San Jacinto Drive, and city officials are asking people to arrive about 7 p.m.
People can bring blankets, food and drinks. Popcorn and soft drinks will be sold. Free valet parking will be available.
