Tickets to Coachella Valley resident Timothy Bradley's defense of his World Boxing Organization welterweight championship against Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas will go sale today at noon.
The 12-round fight is scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center and will be shown live on HBO.
Bradley, a Cathedral City High School alumnus, is 30-0 with one no contest and has 12 knockouts. He won the title June 9, 2012, by defeating Manny Pacquiao on a split decision, Pacquiao's first loss since 2005. Bradley defeated Ruslan Provodnikov on a unanimous decision March 16 in his first title defense.
Marquez, who is from Mexico City, is 55-6-1 with 40 knockouts. He is seeking to become the first Mexican to win world titles in five weight divisions.
