As already listed, the three tallest buildings in America are One World Trade Center, Willis Tower and the Trump International Hotel and Tower. Coming in at fourth tallest in the U.S. is the Empire State Building, which despite its high standing at home, ranks only 22nd tallest worldwide at 1,250 feet tall and and 102 floors. When it was constructed in 1931, the Empire State Building was the tallest building in the world, a distinction it held until the topping out of the original World Trade Center's North Tower in late 1970.
