PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -

The Mountain Fire that started in Mountain Center one year ago on July 15, 2013 scorched thousands of acres of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation.  The tribe was very active in helping the firefighting agencies.

Once the fire was out, they thought the danger had passed and then heavy rains in September created flooding that left its mark on the Canyons, damaging a road and changing the landscape.
