Richard Meaney joins John Wessman in surrendering to authorities

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Both Richard Meaney and John Wessman have surrendered themselves to authorities after corruption charges were filed against them for the Scandal at City Hall in Palm Springs from September 1, 2015.

According to John Hall with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, John Wessman surrendered to authorities on Thursday and bailed himself out of jail. He's facing arraignment in Riverside court on March 16.

Meaney surrendered to police on Friday and also posted bail. His arraignment will also take place in Riverside, but on April 28. We haven't heard anything about former mayor of Palm Springs Steve Pougnet, who's also facing corruption charges.
