Riverside County deputy wounded in Las Vegas shooting in stable condition

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy shot in the Las Vegas mass shooting is now in stable condition.

According to Deputy Armando Munoz, Deputy Jason McMillan's condition is improving and he is still being treated at a Las Vegas hospital.

Last week the department announced McMillan was one of two deputies wounded in the Las Vegas shooting massacre. McMillan was reported that he was in critical but stable condition.

Deputy Jason McMillan is being treated for a gunshot wound he suffered in the sniper attack Sunday night at the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival that killed 58 people and injured more than 500.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for Deputy McMillan's out of pocket expenses.

Sheriff Stan Sniff shared a photo from the McMillan family on his Twitter account.
