INDIO, Calif. -

Traffic is moving once again on Interstate 10 after  a truck caught fire and spilled potatoes all over the freeway just East of the Coachella Valley on Wednesday night.

The truck went up in flames on the eastbound side of the freeway near Box Canyon Road.

The C.H.P. diverted traffic around the burned-out truck until they could clear it from the roadway. Deputies said both eastbound lanes were blocked until 9:12 p.m. with the right lane still blocked at 11:30 p.m.
