Mitt Romney's new campaign ad contrasts the candidate's accomplishments in his term as governor of Massachusetts with what it depicts as the largely failed White House record of President Barack Obama.

"Some can't live up to their promises. Others find a way," the narrator says.

With the economy headed in the wrong direction, the narrator says Obama "admits he can't work with Congress," and uses footage of Obama at a town hall meeting with the Univision network.

"You can't change Washington from the inside," Obama is seen saying in the spot.

Romney has previously said the remark showed Obama offering a "white flag of surrender," and that if elected, he would be more effective in Washington than the current president.

A four-year term, the narrator says, is "all Mitt Romney needed. He turned Massachusetts around, cut unemployment, turned the deficit he inherited into a rainy day fund, all with an 85% Democratic legislature."

With the election just over two weeks away, Romney has cast in recent ads a drab image of a second Obama term and a brighter picture of the economy should he be elected.

Romney's campaign did not say where the spot would run nor how much it was spending to run the spot.

Campaign ad tracker CMAG reported a separate ad released by Romney's campaign Saturday has aired in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Wisconsin, and in states which border or and share media markets with these battlegrounds.
