FONTANA, Calif. -

Police say four people, two of them children, were found dead in a Southern California home on Monday.
    
Fontana police Sgt. Doug Imhof tells KNBC-TV and KABC-TV that a 16-year-old boy called police Monday night to say his family members were injured or killed in the house.
    
Fontana Police responded to the 7300 block of Palmetto Avenue. Fontana police Chief Rodney Jones told KNBC earlier that "multiple homicides" had occurred inside the home.

The San Bernadino Coroner's Office identified the victims as 38 year-old Ramon Miranda, 34 year-old Silvia Miranda, 10 year-old Rayna Miranda, and 12 year-old Ramon Miranda Jr. 

Fontana Police Homicide is handling the investigation.
  
Fontana, a city of about 200,000 people in San Bernardino County, is about 50 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
