(CNS) - Boxing champion Timothy Bradley will serve as grand marshal for the annual Black History Month Parade in Palm Springs Saturday.

The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Palm Canyon Drive at Arenas Road, goes north on Palm Canyon and ends at Alejo Road. The theme is ``Civil Rights in America: Where Do We Stand Now?''

A festival will follow at noon at Frances Stevens Park, 555 N. Palm Canyon Drive.
