1926: Stand-up comedian and actor Don Rickles, best known as an insult comic, is born in Queens, N.Y. Rickles, who became famous for his frequent appearances on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," has appeared in movies such as "Run Silent, Run Deep" and "Casino" and is well known today for voicing the character Mr. Potato Head in the "Toy Story" animated movies.
