1925: Actor Lee Van Cleef, known for movies such as "Kansas City Confidential," "High Noon," "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," is born in Somerville, N.J. He died of a heart attack at age 64 on Dec. 16, 1989.
