1951: Film director John McTiernan, best known for directing action films such as "Predator," "Die Hard" and "The Hunt for Red October," is born in Albany, N.Y. He's seen here on set with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Austin O'Brien while filming 1993's "The Last Action Hero."
