1981: Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys, whose debut album, 2001's "Songs in A Minor," earned her five Grammys, is born Alicia Augello Cook in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan, N.Y. Keys is known for songs such as "Fallin'," "If I Ain't Got You," "Unbreakable," "No One" and "Girl on Fire."
