1938: Radio disc jockey Wolfman Jack, who found fame in the 1960s and '70s and appeared as himself in George Lucas' "American Graffiti," is born Robert Weston Smith in Brooklyn, N.Y. He died of a heart attack at age 57 on July 1, 1995.
