1963: Former Major League Baseball pitcher David Cone is born in Kansas City, Mo. Cone pitched the 16th perfect game in MLB history in 1999 and was a part of five World Series championship teams (1992 with the Toronto Blue Jays and 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000 with the New York Yankees). He also pitched for the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox during his 17-year career.
