1934: Actor George Segal, best known for his movie roles in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," "No Way to Treat a Lady" and "A Touch of Class" and for his TV role in the sitcom "Just Shoot Me!," is born in Great Neck, New York. He earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" in 1967.
