2004: Hall of Fame football player Reggie White, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 13-time Pro Bowl selection who won a Super Bowl title with the Green Bay Packers in 1997, dies of cardiac arrhythmia at the age of 43 in Cornelius, North Carolina.
