2015: Frank Gifford, the Pro Football Hall of Famer who enjoyed a successful transition to the broadcast booth, dies of natural causes at the age of 84 in Greenwich, Connecticut. After a 12-year playing career with the New York Giants that saw him win both the NFL Most Valuable Player Award and an NFL Championship in 1956, he was a play-by-play announcer and commentator for 27 years on "Monday Night Football." He was married to talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford from 1986 until his death.
