1965: Basketball Hall of Fame shooting guard Reggie Miller is born in Riverside, California. He played his entire 18-season NBA career and was especially known for his three-point shooting, retiring in 2005 with the NBA record for most career three-point field goals made. A five-time All-Star, he led the league in free throw accuracy five times and won a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
