YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. - The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating rumored threats at Morongo Basin schools. One threat is being investigated but does not appear to be credible.
Social Media, Facebook specifically has had threats circulated by students and parents in the Morongo Basin. A San Bernardino County Sheriff's Spokesperson says that no arrests have been made at this time but that they are investigating.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department would like to assure residents that "any threat of violence will be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly and potentially prosecuted to the full extent" according to a news release.
A 14 year old boy is being investigated currently.
