Palm Springs, Calif. - Have you started humming "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" yet?
If not perhaps you should because it's time for the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway's Annual Snow Guessing contest which will begin October 1st and continue until the first measurable inch of snow falls at the Mountain Station, elevation of 8,516 feet.
The first ten guesses received, beginning October 1st, with the correct date of snowfall will win four Tram admissions. In the event there are more than ten guesses, the earliest postmarks will prevail.
Anyone wishing to enter the contest can write down their guess on a postcard and mail it to: Snow Guessing Contest, 1 Tram Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262. Postcards only will be accepted. People may enter as many times as they would like, one date per postcard. Postcards postmarked before October 1 will not be accepted.
Tram admission is $23.95 adults and $16.95 children ages 3-12. Discounted Twilight Tickets are available for purchases from 4pm.
Cost of the Twilight Tickets are $20.95 adults and seniors and $13.95 children ages 3-12.
Ride 'n' Dine tickets are available from 4pm and include Tram admission and dinner at Pines Café, a cafeteria-style restaurant.
Cost of the combination ticket is $36 adults and seniors and $23.50 children ages 3-12.
