Murder Victim's Nephew Arrested For Deadly Shooting

Brad Ogle's Nephew Brian Ogle Faces Possible Charges Of Murder

PALM SPRINGS - Palm Springs Police have arrested the nephew of a murder victim in Palm Springs, holding him for possible murder charges.

On Tuesday, May 11, police responded to a call of gunshots fired, and found 47-year-old Brad Ogle dead of a gunshot wound. Witnesses say he died in his mother's arms.

Investigators pinpointed his nephew 24-year-old Brian Ogle of Rancho Mirage as a suspect in the murder. He was arrested on Monday, and held for a parole violation on an unrelated charge.

Next week, Palm Springs Police Department investigators say they will present the case to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office to determine the appropriate charges that will be filed in this case.

Investigators have recovered the getaway vehicle driven by Brian Ogle. They believe that Brian acted alone in the murder, and they are not looking for any outstanding suspects.

Anyone with any additional information about this crime is asked to contact Detective Rhonda Long at (760)323-8142 or Detective Arnold Galvan at (760)323-8146.
