With 49 victims, Sunday's terrorist attack at an gay nightclub in Orlando now ranks as America's most deadly mass shooting. Take a look at some of the other worst mass shootings in U.S. history.

Sept. 2, 2008: Isaac Zamora, 28, was accused of killing six people in Alger, Wash., and wounding two others before turning himself into authorities. His mother described him to The Seattle Times as "extremely mentally ill," and authorities said he had been released from jail the month before. Zamora later pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated first-degree murder and not guilty by reason of insanity to the two other killings. Each of the four murder counts carries a life sentence.
