THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. - Marcus Scribner is in the desert Saturday to host the Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards for The National Academy of Television at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa.
At 16 years old, he's the youngest person ever to host the awards.
Scribner plays Andre Jr. on the hit ABC show "Black-ish", starring alongside Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross. The show centers around a family man (Anderson) who hopes to teach his children a sense of cultural identity while raising them in a predominantly white, upper-middle-class neighborhood.
The show just finished its second season and is slated for a third season in 2016-2017.
Scribner has been focusing on charitable work during his hiatus from the show.
Scribner also played Buck on "The Good Dinosaur."
