Deputy paralyzed in Las Vegas shooting returns to Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. - Riverside County Sheriff's deputy Jason McMillan was left paralyzed from the waist down after being shot during the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.

After two months of rehabilitation in hospitals from Las Vegas to Colorado, McMillan and his fiancé finally returned home to Riverside County on Wednesday.

McMillan is currently dependent on his wheelchair. Although he is paralyzed, there is still a chance McMillan will be able to walk again.

Friends and family are raising funds that would go towards buying an action track chair, making it easier for McMillan to get around and help with everyday functions.
