The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today to its lowest amount since Feb. 1, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.888.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased 57 times in 60 days, dropping 40.3 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.8 cents less than one week ago, 17.4 cents lower than one month ago and 27.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
