The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Friday for the third time in four days, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $4.11.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties dropped two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, was unchanged Wednesday and decreased a half-cent on Thursday after rising slightly each of the previous three days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

   The average price is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 15.3 cents lower than one month ago but 14.4 cents more than one year ago.
