RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.104, one day after dropping seven-tenths of a cent.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.4 cents less than one week ago and 12.2 cents lower than one month ago but 15.2 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price  Information Service.

   The average price dropped three times in four days then rose one-tenth of a cent on Saturday.
