The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire was unchanged Wednesday for the second time in three days, remaining at $4.287.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties rose three consecutive days to its highest amount since March 1, 2013, then was unchanged Monday and rose one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the  AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

   The average price is 2.1 cents more than a week ago, 27.5 cents higher than one month ago and 39.9 cents greater than what it was one year ago.
