RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since February 19th, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.789.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 15 of the past 16 days and 55 of the past 58, decreasing 36 cents over the latter span, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

   The average price is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 14.2 cents lower than one month ago and 4.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
