Inland Empire gas price drops for 14th consecutive day

Price for gallon of gas falls to $3.019

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today for the 14th consecutive day, decreasing a half-cent to $3.019, its lowest amount since Sept. 1.   

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped  6.4 cents over the past 14 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.   

The average price is 3.6 cents less than one week ago and 10.7 cents lower than one month ago but 25.2 cents higher than one year ago.
