RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular  gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Wednesday for the 13th consecutive day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.18.

   The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 10.5 cents over the past 13 days, including 1.4 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

   The average price is at its lowest amount since April 12 and 7.2 cents less than one week ago and 4.5 cents lower than one month ago.

   However, despite the recent decreases, the average price is 10 cents more than one year ago.
