RIVERSIDE, Calif. -

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Wednesday to its highest amount since June 24th, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.09.

The average price is 5.8 cents more than one week ago, 14 cents higher than one month ago and 6.1 cents above what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has risen nine of the past 10 days, including eight- tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
