Highlights from U.S. Annual Health Report

On May 16, the Centers for Disease Control released their 35th annual report titled "Health, United States, 2011." This report includes a compilation of health data through 2010 from a number of sources within the federal government and in the private sector. Here are some interesting highlights.

Overall, in the same year, the percentage of U.S. adult smokers age 18 and over dropped: From 21 percent in 2009 to 19 percent in 2010.
