Memorial Day weekend is here, which means it's time to start thinking about sun protection. Consumer Reports tested and rated 18 top-selling sunscreens with SPFs ranging from 30 to 75+. Find out which brands made the grade and which fell short of offering the best protection for you and your family.

Sunscreens were also tested on clear plastic plates for a new test mandated by the Food and Drug Administration requiring that products claiming broad-spectrum protection have a minimum "critical wavelength."
