COACHELLA, Calif. - Hundreds turned out to a Mariachi Festival in honor of the city of Coachella's 70th anniversary on Sunday night.
The free event was held at the city's Veterans Park and included live music plus local artists and other vendors. The event is one of three celebrations to be held in honor of the anniversary.
The next one is set to include an Independence Day celebration celebration with fireworks on Saturday, July 1 at Bagdouma Park and the third will be a yet-to-be-determined event in October. Details are expected to be released at a later date.
