Two arrested after police find illegal indoor marijuana grow inside Palm Springs home

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - 35-year-old, Lin Hoa, and 29-year-old Li Juan Lei were both arrested Friday morning after police officers found an illegal indoor marijuana grow at a residence in the 800 block of Summit Drive in Palm Springs.

Approximately 550 marijuana plants and around $8,000 dollars were confiscated during the search of the residence.

Police also discovered that the home had been illegally bypassing the power resulting in approximately $45,000 worth of electricity having been stolen.

Hoa and Lei were transported and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, located in the city of Banning for illegal marijuana cultivation and theft of utilities.
