Desert Hot Springs arrest three suspects during burglary

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. - Police found a would-be thief stuck inside an air vent after responding to a burglary in progress at a Desert Hot Springs home, two other suspects were arrested in the incident.

Desert Hot Springs police officers received the call at around 8:20 a.m. at a residence located in the 66600 block of Flora Avenue near Mesquite Avenue.


A man was found stuck in the air vent of the residence, he was safely removed by firefighters then detained.

Officers also found two other suspects, a man and a woman, inside the residence after entering through a sliding door in the backyard.

He was eventually removed then detained.

Police say they don't believe anything was taken from the house.
