DEVORE, Calif. - Firefighters are battling a small brush fire that started Saturday along the northbound 15 freeway in Devore, prompting a full closure at the 215 Freeway interchange.
Authorities said the 20-acre blaze broke out around 10 p.m. and was moving at a moderate speed, after starting near the Kenwood Avenue off-ramp.
Multiple agencies were working to knock down the fire.
Authorities said the fire was around the same area as the Blue Cut Fire that charred thousands of acres, and prompted thousands of evacuations.
